Over the past 4 weeks, we have been assisting in moving large parts of a cloud server IT infrastructure from a Docker Swarm infrastructure on dedicated servers to a cloud-native infrastructure. The target infrastructure selected was k8s. Once again, it has been shown that the use of widely used standard components has proven its worth, such as Helm. In total, the hosting TCO could be reduced by more than 40% due to a far improved resource utilization.
